Lovely place on dune road! I've been going here for over two decades, and I've never been disappointed. Great atmosphere and good food! Come on Monday for their 20cent wing night (cash only) a real treat for anyone. I love it how they have live music most nights as well

Fabulous post beach lobsta roll & beer

Food ok, service was inexperienced, manager Jeff is a stand up guy. The valet guys are crude, rude dudes.

Although during this review John Scott's is closed, I just wanted to leave some feedback. This place has brought so many memories with friends and family during the summer months in The Hamptons and the summer's not made without going once!The wings are so good! The atmosphere is what you expect for the location. Great vibes! beer pong at times!

Good food and nice place

Great local spot. Good beer selection and menu. The menu appears as fairly traditional pub style food but the quality is better than expected. Definitely expect a wait if you come during prime season and at night. The place gets crazy packed and spreads out into the parking lot. Very loud bar atmosphere in the wee hours but good spot if your not looking to travel far while in West Hampton. Limited parking and there is usually a line of cars going down Dune road. All in all it's a casual favorite to check out especially during the summer months.

The food was so delicious and filling, and the Shirley Temple was so good! They had all classics songs playing and a singer came around sunset. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and the view outside is amazing.

Good. Fun summer place. Decent food.

Fun place for eating and/or going out. The mussels, wings, and buffalo shrimp wrap are some favorites. Live music makes it a fun spot to hang out on a weekend night.

The food here is spectacular. I mean really fresh and really good seafood. That being said, I wish the staff was bit happier and more welcoming. Maybe it was an off day, but I took a star off for that. That being said, i'll be back there again, that food is just waaaay too damn good.

Kinda not good way load and any over priced maybe it was just too busy on a holiday weekend but I wasnt happy when I got the check.

The best summer chill spot from the beach

Great place for wings, fried shrimp and cold beer. Beautiful view of the bay when you sit outside. Seasonal business. They close end of September. Gets very crowded after 5pm

Everything you would expect from a Surfside bar/restaurant. Great surf vibe with excelenant and attentive staff. Great prices, great food, great LIVE music and great atmosphere. My wife and I look forward to returning very soon.

Everything you could want after a long leisurely day at the beach, whether you decide to dine inside or out on the back deck. Food is very good, the vibe is laid back and the drinks are plentiful with a range of beers (draft and bottle) and cocktails including your summer favorites. On the weekend evenings it does get busy with a 'younger' crowd but everyone mingles together for a good night out.

Waitress intruded on personal conversation and tried to correct us on word choice. Told us that she had the bouncers watching us. Food was mediocre and views are 10x better at other locations. Who ever the waitress was should be fired.

Super spot to have a light summer lunch. Excellent grilled shrimp ( on a ceasar salad) , and I'm not the biggest fan of grilled shrimp.... fun spot.... fans were nice/comfortable but too noisy. The rest of the food we had was terrific!! And reasonable for dune road😉👍

Any time I visit my Cousin I eat at John Scott’s at least twice during my visit. I absolutely love the lobster bake. I love the atmosphere. The food is amazing.

It’s meh and overpriced. Waitress was nice but the food is greasy and not great. I got the Tijuana Chicken and it wasn’t great, pretty bland and wouldn’t come back here.

What a blast! Love this place, its like cheers, the staff is so friendly, and they make you feel right at home. But honestly, I go there for the cuisine!
